I'm Cameron Haughey, a qualified driving instructor based in Perth, WA. I created GOAT Driving to help learner drivers who can’t afford weeks of one‑on‑one instruction — but still want a real chance at passing their Practical Driving Assessment (PDA) on the first try.

Why I Started GOAT Driving

Over the years, there were times when a student would have just one or two lessons — often given as a gift — and then have to stop. Not because they weren’t trying, but because continuing simply wasn’t affordable for them. Those moments stayed with me. I hated knowing it would make their journey to getting a licence so much harder without professional help.

That’s where this site comes in. I’ve built detailed, easy‑to‑follow DIY driving lesson plans based on exactly what WA assessors expect during the PDA. You can go through the material at your own pace, with your mum, dad, partner, or any licensed supervisor by your side.
