What part of driving are you struggling with?
You don't need to be struggling with everything. Sometimes there's just one situation, skill or bit of feedback that you just haven't quite figured out.
PERCEIVED PRESSURE
You're too conscious of everyone around you.
Do you feel like you're being judged? Do you worry about holding people up? Being overly reactive to other drivers creates pressure that doesn't need to be there.
UNDERSTANDING SYSTEMS
You think you understand it - but do you?
You're pretty sure you know how roundabouts work. You're pretty sure you know who gives way at intersections. But you're not completely sure — and that uncertainty matters.
TRUSTING YOURSELF
You know you should've gone - but you didn't.
Do you struggle to pick your gaps? Do you know you have priority, but still hesitate? Self-doubt creates hesitation. Hesitation can create dangerous situations.
CONFUSION
You keep getting mixed messages.
Have you failed your PDA more than once and received different feedback each time? Have instructors seemed to contradict each other? How are you supposed to know what to change — and what you're already doing right?
Sometimes you don't need another lesson
Sometimes you just need a reliable source you can come back to — something that gives you clarity about what you’re doing and why.
That's why I built the 19-Step Learner's Journey
WHAT IS IT?
The 19-Step Learner's Journey
If one of my students asks me a question about roundabouts, I’ll open the website, go to Step 7 — Roundabouts, and use the material on this site to answer them.
That’s essentially what having access to the 19-Step Learner’s Journey is like.
Imagine being able to ask your instructor a question at any time of the day or night. Instead of waiting until your next lesson, you can log in on your phone, find the relevant step, and get the answer straight away.
And if your question still isn’t answered? Send me an email and I’ll get back to you as promptly as I can.
The Journey is seven years of my teaching experience, working with students of different backgrounds, confidence levels and abilities, distilled into a format you can access and revisit whenever you need it.
It’s the same material I use to teach my own students — and 60% of them pass their PDA first time.
The purpose is simple:
to remove as much uncertainty, stress and confusion from your learner journey as possible.
